Introducing OneTake: record once, snip mistakes, never re-take
Every creator knows the feeling. You are ten minutes into a clean take, you flub one line, and now you are staring down a choice: start over, or make a mental note to "fix it in the edit" later. Both cost you time you would rather spend creating.
OneTake removes that choice.
An overlay, not another app
OneTake is an always-on-top overlay for OBS Studio. It docks over your scene as a small, draggable card showing your elapsed time and the controls you actually use while recording — start, pause, stop, and Snip. You never tab away from what you are capturing.
Snip mistakes the moment they happen
Fumbled a sentence? Tap Snip and choose how many seconds to drop — 5, 10, 30 or 60. OneTake marks that span as a cut and you keep rolling. There is no scrubbing, no separate editor, and no breaking your flow.
The best tools disappear into your hands. Snip is the "undo" your camera never had.
One clean take, on your terms
When you stop, OneTake opens a cut-aware preview so you can fine-tune your cuts on a timeline. From there, export one clean merged file — or an EDL to carry your cuts into Premiere, Resolve or Final Cut.
It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, talks to OBS over its built-in WebSocket, and needs no plugins. Pay once, own it forever.
This is just the start. Tell us what you need next on the feedback page.
